Jimmy Welch is a Personal Trainer with over 40 years’ experience in fitness, strength, and conditioning. With a background in county-level rugby and cricket, Jimmy brings real-world sporting knowledge into every session.
After transitioning from competitive sport, he focused on strength training, cycling, boxing, and general conditioning, alongside coaching cricket and football at schoolboy level. Five years ago, he moved into full-time personal coaching.
Jimmy delivers daily men’s bootcamp sessions, including a programme designed specifically for men over 50, as well as one-to-one training for clients of all abilities — from elite athletes seeking marginal gains to individuals improving strength, mobility, and long-term health.
All sessions take place in a private gym on the Wirral, with a holistic approach that covers training, nutrition, recovery, hydration, and mindset.
